DigitalTWIN will be represented at BIM-TAG Deutschland on October 12. Project manager Dr. Fabian Schmid will present the research project with reference to digitalization in medium-sized companies in the lecture programme. Schmid will highlight the goals and requirements for the development of digital tools and their use in the areas of BIM, Industry 4.0 and IT. 180 guests will present and discuss via live-stream in the Gasometer Berlin about questions of digitalization. At the same time, the largest virtual trade fair for the construction and real estate industry to date will take place.
Dr. Fabian Schmid will speak on the first day of the event under the title "Digitalization in medium-sized businesses: goal orientation, user-friendliness, innovation", which will be broadcast live from Berlin. Based on the motivation for the DigitalTWIN research project from the perspective of seele, an innovation leader in façade construction, critical interfaces and the basics for a successful digital transformation will be discussed. Various demos focusing on automation, ease of use and robustness as well as interaction throughout the building life cycle will show practical examples. Finally, the compatible and scalable IT solutions used will be presented and an outlook on the possibilities of future networked data, services and tools will be given.
