Digital tools for construction

In a project completed in 2021, a consortium of industry and research partners was developing digital tools and methods along the construction value-creation chain. DigitalTWIN stands for Digital Tools and Workflow Integration for Building Lifecycles, a project funded within the scope of the “Smart Services World II” programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs & Energy.

Use Cases & Demos

Techniques and solutions in exemplary applications

After the official inaugural meeting in June 2018, the market conditions, technologies and standards were analysed and experiences of the different disciplines exchanged in further workshops. Based on these results, the consortium developed three Use Cases and corresponding demos that address relevant issues and the interfaces between planning, production and building operation.
